Autumn Special Opening of Taiko-mon Gate to the public (in the Drum Gate tower)

  • DetailsDrum Gate was built in 1595 (Bunroku Era 4th year) . Taiko-mon Gate was also built on the stone wall which is located on the north side of Drum Gate, and acted as a signal of the time, visitors to the castle, and fire.
    Taiko-mon Gate was renovated in March 1999 and is open to the public 3 times a year in April, July, and October.
